What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect information about the member during the signup process as well as some basic activities such as the dates you make purchases, login to the site, or cancel/resume your subscriptions with us.
What we collect and store
When you subscribe with us, we’ll ask you to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and subscriptions. This may include payment receipts, password reset emails, and payment reminders.
- Create your membership account
How long we retain your data
We store account registration information about you for as long as your account exists. If you are assigning games to students, that data is automatically deleted after the teacher’s memberships is expired for 6 months.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, site Owner/Administrators can access:
- Order information such as your membership subscriptions, payment dates and amounts, and username / email address.
- Any additional information added in your Member Profile can also be visible to the Administrator(s).
What we share with others
We share member information with third parties who help us provide additional contact services to you; for example – [Google Analytics, Memberpress, and Flodesk) Student data is not shared with any third parties, it is stored securely on our database and can only be viewed by the account member or our administrators. Members do not have to enter any student information if they do not wish to assign games and choose to only use our site for group play. If members choose to create a classroom, they are not required to enter full student names. We will collect usernames/passwords and performance data to help members see how their students perform.
Payments
We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
Google Classroom Integration
We collect Google Classroom data for service provision and improvement. Your Google Classroom data is securely stored and not shared with third parties.
Google Classroom Data: When you use our Google Classroom integration, we collect data such as class information, student details, teacher information, and related data necessary for the functioning of our services.
Google Classroom Service Provision: We use Google Classroom data to provide and improve our services, including managing classes, students, and teachers’ data within our platform.
Data Sharing: Your Google Classroom data is securely stored on our database and is only accessible by you as the account member or our administrators. We do not share student data with any third parties.
Data Retention: Google Classroom data associated with your account is retained as long as your account exists. If you are assigning games to students, any data related to this is automatically deleted after the teacher’s membership is expired for 6 months.
Data Security: We take appropriate security measures to protect your Google Classroom data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
Limited Use Requirements Disclosure: We comply with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. For details, refer to Google’s API Services User Data Policy.
Opt-out: You have the option to not use our Google Classroom integration and choose to only use our site for group play without entering student information.
